Seriously, the best decision I could have ever made. I was in need of employment and was referred here through a friend. Immediately, when I walked in I was greeted and serviced. ...

Absolutely no employee loyalty - you're a warm body, nothing more, nothing less.

These guys are great! I have been working with them off and on for a few years now. I have nothing but good things to say.\r more

This company is run by a bunch of clowns looking for the workers they can pay the least. They told me they submitted my resume for a job, then I never hear back. I finally placed a follow up call and the girl pitched me a job in an industry I have no interest, yet tried to tell me it was in the industry I am looking for work. \r I was sent on an assignment and was asked by their client to come back because I did such a good job. LeadingEdge rewarded this by reducing their pay to me by $1/hr - without even mentioning it to me. Shameful! Maybe they are on the verge of bankruptcy because that is how they act: desperate for cash. I agree with other reviews who say they are ""fake nice"" and ""patronizing"".\r Also make sure you keep look at your paystubs because I have had errors on mine. It's not hard to do the basic math for these paychecks, yet somehow errors seem to happen.\r I am sure they have open houses all the time to recruit new employees as people get tired of their unprofessional antics. I suggest registering with more reputable, nationwide employment agencies. This place is a mickey-mouse operation run by jerks. more

I really love this company! Sorry to read some negative reviews. I am new, but I was really impressed with their level of friendliness and professionalism. I submitted my application and after about three days after, I heard back from them offering me a great position at a pay that I wanted. From what it seems like, they place you directly in an industry that works best for you, and the job that I got, I love. They do make you take series of test, and try to place you accordingly. Appreciate the weekly direct deposit pay - you just can't beat that. more

I agree with the comment about no (would-be) employee loyalty. I was jerked around for a couple of months. I also did well on the tests. They were considering me for so many jobs, then suddenly I didn't have enough computer experience. I had a job, then I didn't have a job. The job starts next week, then it didn't start next week. The paperwork hadn't been done to get me into the job, so they sent other people. I shouldn't be ""pigeonholed"" for that job anyway, so they would just take me off the list and look for something else. They promised this job to me so many times, and I expressed that I really needed to work, but it just seemed like a garden party to them...oh well, la-di-dah! Ended up with no job at all. more

Wonderful people, wonderful business. I highly recommend Leading Edge to anyone in search of a job. I was sent to a job the very next day after I applied. I have already recommended them to several friends!! more

I am so surprised by some of these negative reviews. I have worked with LeadingEdge for years, and so appreciate the polite, nice and professional staff. They get me work when I need it. I call in each day when I need work that simple. I use 2 other temp agencies, LeadingEdge has provided me with more jobs, has had less accounting errors, and have treated me with nothing but respect all these years. Every agency makes you take tests. If you want work you have to drive to it. There are good jobs and bad not their fault. When people ask me who to work for temp agency wise guess who I recommend - LeadingEdge Personnel. They do their best I appreciate that you have to account for the poor economy people are cutting back job wise. You do your work you show up you try to be professional you not be to picky sometimes workwise and you to will like this agency. more

I thought I was coming in for an interview for a bookkeeping position. Instead I wasted the next two hours taking tests (which I scored high on, btw) that I could have taken at home. The ""interview"" was a joke - it was obvious that they had not looked over my resume and were asking the wrong questions. When I did ask about the job I thought I was coming in for, they said, ""Oh, that's Lisa handling it - Catherine is the one who talked to you."" When I did get to speak with Lisa very briefly, she said that they were ""hiring internally for the position."" more

Seriously, the best decision I could have ever made. I was in need of employment and was referred here through a friend. Immediately, when I walked in I was greeted and serviced. Not only did they see me right away, but they offered me a cold beverage, popcorn, candy, anything I could have wanted. The application process could have been timely, had I not applied online prior. However, they asked me to take some online testing to measure my skills, which I was really appreciative. It was a great refresher from the programs that I had not used in awhile. Afterwards, they went over my scores with me and we had a short interview. Immediately, they said they had a position in mind for me and asked if I was interested. After paperwork was filled out and within a couple of days I was off to my first and last placement. Within a short month my employer offered me a full time position with them. Had it not been for LeadingEdge, I would not be where I am today. I DEFINITELY recommend LeadingEdge to anyone seeking employment. They are truly there for you and really make you feel that way! more

DON'T DO IT!! 9/16/2010

If I could give less than one star, I would. They are terrible to work with. I took the tests and scored VERY well on them and only got offered a one day receptionist job that is 20+ miles away??? When they DO call to talk to you about a job they do NOT consider what it is you're looking for. They offer grunt jobs if/when they do call. As another review said, they are fake. No thanks. I say get a job on your own. They are not worth the time or effort. more

Great Service and Placement 7/21/2010

I signed up with Leading Edge twice and both times the company met or exceeded my expectations. I found the job of my dreams through this agency and was hired on permanently. At the beginning of the economic downturn in Austin, and I was laid off from my perfect job, they still kept me busy and gave me great long-term assignments at good pay. The women at Leading Edge were always friendly, personable and helpful. I've worked for several agencies in the past and I have to say that Leading Edge was a pleasant surprise and I was impressed. I wish they had an office in Memphis where I now reside. Thanks Leading Edge and especially Lisa Matthews, my rep!! I live in Memphis now Pros: Direct deposit, responsive to needs Cons: no option to purchase insurance more

WASTE OF TIME 11/12/2009

I spent one hour filling out their online application. Two days later a received a phone call to come into their offices for an interview. They're fake nice and give you forced smiles. I spent two hours taking their tests and scored well on all of them. I follow up three days later and NOTHING. The lady that answered was cold and rude as well. Don't waste your time with them. They're pretentious. Pros: They give you free soda instead of water. There's candy too. Cons: Rude blondies that discriminate and waste your time. more

A Bad Joke- waste of time 2/27/2009

Sure, turn over all of your personal info so that they can ignore and disregard you- even after repeated calls. After trying to work with them, let alone get any straight answers as to how they coordinate/operate their organization, I am under the the impression that they are another office that works off of quotas. Not # of people that become imployed, but how many people that sign up. Makes me wonder- are they making their money by SELLING my personal information??? Pros: sounded great on 'paper' Cons: no jobs 'available more

Bias employment practice 12/31/2008

I had registered with the LeadingEdge Personnel located at 8200 N. Mopac around the date of June 29, 2007. My recruiter was Rachel Richter. I dont recall the exact date. But later on i was contacted by Lisa Matthews about a job that was over 30 miles away from my address. I told her how i thought the offer was ridiculous due to the type of job and the distance of it. The recruiter then told me something like ""We are not going to work you anymore"". She was very short, rude, and unprofessional with me. It was my right to turn down any position that i was not interested in. Later i had a talk with her manager. Her manager told me how she was going to work things out with Lisa. Im not very sure about the exact date, but afterwards i had a talk with the manager at LeadingEdge about getting me a job. I told her what type of job i wanted. She told me that i needed six months of experience for the particular job. I was given the impression that after i got the 6 months of the work experience i needed, i could then get a position through this employment agency. I already had 4 months of experience and a certification in the particular feild i wanted to work in. So after i got the other two months of this work experience through a different employment agency that got me on a temporary contract. I called back over to LeadingEdge for employment on the date of Oct 26, 2007. I was then told by Rachel Richter how i had to speak to the lawyer for this employment agency. I asked her why. She asked me something like ""Why are you calling us"". I then tried to reason with her but she just said ""Please dont call anymore"". I was not given any real reason for being told this. At that point i knew that i had been discriminated against. If not then what is the true reason behind me being denied services? more

Immediate pay. Great service. Great follow-thru. 5/15/2008

Pay is immediate, the minute you turn in timecard. They answer your questions and resolve issues w/assigments immediately. They contact you the first day, to make sure the job is working. They always follow-up and return calls, emails. Pros: they go to bat for you. Cons: job market is slow. more
