One of my first professional theatre jobs was stage managing a show that rehearsed upstairs from this location. every morning, I'd get a chuck of french bread with butter on it and a small hot chocolate. The bread was incredible, and the hot chocolate was dark, not too sweet and very rich. My faux pauper's meal cost me over $5 which was absurd, but if you try it, you'll understand why it was a daily little bit of perfection.
