Good: well, i liked the idea of playing the game. Bad: the service, the staff, the whole place. Improvements: more cleaning, nicer staff, AND WORKING LASERS!!. Other: i hated it. the service was terrible, the people there were all mean and was really disgusting! food everywhere. when i touched one of the laser things it nearly fell out of my hand. it stanched like sweat and dirtiness. i would never bring your children there! it should be closed down! i have nightmares about it!. more

Nightmare 2/13/2008

I took 4 children and my experience was awful. It was poorly run and unorganized. Equipment did not work or fit properly and you couldn't get any help. After waiting and getting frustrated the kids decided they didn't want to play. The staff told me I would get a credit but the manager would have to issue it the following day. Needless to say, I have not received a credit and I can't get anyone to call me back. I would not return to this place nor would I recommend it to. more

Awful Experience 2/10/2008

We had a party for our 7 year old son. In fairness to the place, he had been at Lazer Zone many time and had fun. However, our experience was terrible. They lost our reservation and put us in the lobby. There were too many kids in the place and not enough working equipment. The worst part was the completely unresponsive staff. At one point 30 kids were trying to get working equipment while one staff person helped them. Keep in mind that their 20 minute game cycle is rapidly running out. The remaining "staff" of three was sitting at the register eating pizza. When parents asked them for help, you would think we were making unreasonable demands. Several of the 15 kids at our party only got a few moments of active play time and a lot of frustration. It was very disappointing for them and terribly frustrating for us. We would never recommend that anyone trust Lazer Zone with their kid's party. It is just not worth the hassle or the money. Also, the equipment seems to be in poor condition and antiquated. The previous reviews and our son's own prior experience indicates that this could be a good place. One is left to believe that Lazer Zone in Glenview has been left in the hands of terribly uninterested and unmotived young men. The owner needs to take a serious look at who is running his or her business. If the owner was there, he or she needs to find a new business. Pros: Good idea Cons: Unbelievably poor execution, terrible equipment, awful staff Overall user rating: Not Recommended more

BLAST! 10/11/2007

Blast away! My kids had a great time, and so did I, blasting at each other for three games. The arena was filled with music, smoke and black lights, and it just made for a wild time. We had a party of 20, which isn't easy to handle, but the store did just fine, everything considered. Recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy the birthday party as much as their kids do! more

Daughter and friends had a TON of FUN, and SO DID I !!! 10/11/2007

Ok, I'm a 43 year old man and I took my 8 year old daughter to Lazer Zone for a birthday party, and being Daddy's girl, she of course had me play inside the arena for the Lazer battles. Not only did the entire party of 15 have a total blast blasting each other (pun intended!), but I was shocked how much FUN I had running around the arena. Pretty cool strategy game built into the Lazer Zone experience, and I'm just happy I listened to my daughter when she asked to have her party there. We plan on going back some time, and don't plan on waiting a whole year for another birthday party! more

The best laser tag place 8/18/2005

I tried out laser zone for the first time and had a fun experience at this place. The cost is low, about $7.50 per person for two games of 10 min. You basically strap on this chest armor which has sensors for detecting the laser and also you get a cool laser gun. The arena is multilevel with mirrors and looks like a maze. You are scored by shots that you hit on your opponen minus scores for being hit and for accuracy. more

Great Laser Tag Fun 8/9/2005

Laser zone is a nice place to take the kids out and duel it out using laser guns. you get points for each hit on your opponents target. Watch out for the short little kids, they are the most deadly. the smaller they are, the smaller the targe. I highly recommend this place for birthday parties. Prices are reasonable. more

Tons of fun 8/6/2005

We were looking for something to do and found this place. This is one of the most enjoyable and fun games that I have played in a long time. We could have played all day if we could have. We played for 3 hours and we had so much fun that it didn't feel like we had been there that long. Their prices per game are very cheap, so I highly recommend playing the laser games here!!!! more
