I was on the other end of a divorce case handled by Carla. My husband's ex wife hired Carla to defend her. As the case stands now, my ex husband has sole legal custody of their 6 year old son (which is what he asked for), and his ex wife (Carla's client) has relocated to the East Coast without her child. Their divorce is status only because of documents that Carla was supposed to submit (financial statements, etc.) and they were never submitted, so nearly 2 years later, my husband and his ex-wife are trying to finalize the divorce on their own because Carla couldn't do her job. I mean, really, what does it say about a lawyer when you have to work with your ex-husband for resolution. I guess I should be thanking Carla, because she made my life with my husband easier, and has given his son a chance at a better and more stable life, but since we're rating her service as a representative, she had no clue how to help her client. On our last court date my husband told the judge that his ex-wife had relocated to the East Coast, and Carla had no clue that had even happened. Maybe if she returned some phone calls, and kept her head in the case she might have a clue about what is happening with her clients.
Cons: she's clueless
