My friend and I wanted a nice, cozy Italian dinner in the neighborhood. Instead what we got was TERRIBLE service and mediocre food, at best. After we were sat there for at least 10 minutes w/o even a drink order taken, we hailed down the nearby bartender to ask for our server. He finally sauntered over and could barely be bothered to take our order. Another 10 full minutes go by before our room temp martini's arrived. Cue the food - it was underwhelming but not despicable. Aside from the fact both dishes were drenched in sauce, the pasta itself was satisfactory, I guess. Another restaurant joins the tragic Italian food epidemic on 9th Ave in west 50s, like it's peers Puttanesca, Ralph's and Mangia y Bevi. Congrats Lasagna.
Pros: Near my home
Cons: Everything but the location
