Worst Attitude and Even Cursed at Both Female Tenants of the House 1/15/2013

A man showed up to work on our multi family house furnace this morning and was a complete asshole. He threw things out of the closet and said "Move your shit!" and when I asked him what his problem was and that I would be calling my landlord to tell them about his attitude he said "Fine, go ahead. Thank you for fixing my furnace" before pushing past us and leaving. He even left the lock box key (containing the outder doors for maintenance entry) open and the key in our back door. I was on my phone with the landlord when he came back silent grabbed the key and left. He didn't sound sober at all. He was a misogynist jerk who was also rude to the upstairs woman. She said "Good morning, are you fixing our heater?" and he replied "What does it look like I'm doing? and then cursing and mumbling under his breath. This person should not be employed if you want people to ever call your company again. He was disrespectful and belligerent and made the people here uneasy with him being in close proximity of our doors. WTF Larry's Nat Gas? There's no excuse for this jerk being allowed to act like that in front of customers. This happened on 1/15/13 around 10 AM. more

An honest assessment 6/28/2006

When my furnace conked out in December, I called Larry to come take a look. As it turned out the motor was shot. Larry gave me an honest assessment of the state of the furnace: he could repair or replace the motor and it would work for another 10+ years, and the blowers were also nearing the end of their life - in another two years they'd need replacing too. While he could repair it and would have been happy to do so, we decided it would make just as much sense to get a new one since the total cost of repair would have only been a couple hundred bucks less than a new furnace. I really appreciated Larry's honest assessment, and I got a new furnace from someone else (because he just does repairs). more
