Yes, Lakeshore Drive is a beautiful place to walk, bike, or blade. Very peaceful, scenic area. Ducks, few tiny beachy/sandy spots, great place to lay back and enjoy the view. Posted review to offer suggestions on parking. At Vernier Rd (8mile Rd) and Lakeshore behind Shores Police Station is public park with plenty of parking (access off Lakeshore Dr) and the scenery begins just across the street with the GP Yacht Club and accessible waterfront. There is also the option of parking at the church next to War Memorial and walking a very short distance for access to lakefront. Pros: no crowds, safe, beautiful, quiet more

Excellent place to stroll with your date, view is excellent, atmosphere is breathe-taking. Good place for privacy, but................ Where to Park? There is no parking on Lake Shore and the GP Shores Cops will ticket those who park on the residental streets. But, it's worth it......
