I never write reviews actually this is my first, however my experience today really got me thinking. I guess bothered me about the type of personnel they have hired to assist potential buyers in finding someone a car that suits their needs. I consider myself a well rounded 38 year old professional / Military. Bought several new cars in the last 20 years normally every 2 years for my wife and myself . I'm familiar with the process from pressure sales to a relaxed environment when a dealer is doing well. I also understand that they're in the sales business and make money and salesman are there doing a job to make the costumer feel good and to close a deal. I had been doing research and looking for a new car for myself and a Lexus they have on their lot caught my eye and basically I wanted it, Liked the pictures online and wanted to see it in person to seal the deal. I was ready to buy! I arrived at the dealer at noon and was actually greeted by a young salesman I told him I was in the market for a new car for myself and if he minded if I looked, he was helpful asking the common sales questions what am I looking for, price and the common are you financing etc, I told him price wasn't an issue just looking for something that caught my eye. I forgot to mention I was going to pay cash I had a cashiers check $15k and I was going to use my Visa to cover the balance! A COCKY salesman named RUDY aided the young man whom didn't have much information so asked for help to answer some of my questions (couldn't of got anyone worst)! he talked to me with arrogance I told him I liked the Lexus and if he could tell me more about the car, pricing etc. Rudy started selling me the car and did the common over selling; needless to say I was already sold, he told me that this car would of already sold if we where in O.C and people in this area don't buy these cars?! I said what to you mean? Also he said the best price was $23k on sale thats the best price online it's listed for $21k. Went next door bought a 2014 Yukon within the hour.
