I have been going to La Provence for several years. It's another one of those "shopping strip jewels" (i.e., not much to look at from the outside, but a nice surprise once you enter the door). The decor is attractive and comfortable, though some of the chairs could use better padding. The service can be a little slow at times, but is otherwise very professional. The menu is Provencial, meaning the food is prepared more simply vs. the rich, heavy food people tend to think of with French cooking. There are several fish choices also, which is nice. This is a good place for an adult evening out, but not a place to bring younger kids.
