As residents of Pacifica we know most of the local restaurants in the immediate area. When we want freshly prepared and delicious Mexican food we always go to La Playa.
La Playa is right next to the beach off Hwy 1 just before devils slide on the southern most part of Pacifica.
They have beer on tap, a full bar, and great margaritas. The top shelf margaritas are the best in the Bay Area. A must visit for the homemade chips and salsa and varied daily menu specials. They are closed on Mondays and serve lunch and dinner Tues-Sun. Mostly frequented by locals and always a friendly crowd. Highly recommended.
