One day I dropped my baby and he did not eat breakfast yet it was 8:30 am so I asked this Teacher aide for breakfast and she gave a half of cold sandwich and whole orange. My baby is just turned 18 months how could he eat with this hard bread and chunk of oranges? So, I stayed and feed my baby later I asked for more bread and she complained that my baby ate a lot. I was so mad. the next day when we were leaving she called my baby a " greedy baby" and reported her to the director and she told me that the teacher/aide may be was just joking. Also talked to the assistant director about it and she told me that it's true that my baby is greedy. Also complaint about somebody pinched him deeply on his cheek and they said, they do not know what happened. I will never go back in this daycare anymore! Pros: null Cons: null more

I have been bringing my son to La Petite since he was 6 weeks old, he is now a little over 1. I have never once had any problems with the staff regarding anything. The two times in one year he did have accidents, (falling, etc.) I was notified very quickly. When I drop him off in the morning he is all smiles and loves the ladies there. Actually reaches out to them as if they were family. A child that young cannot fake who he does or doesnt like. I thank everyone at La Petite for making it easier for me to go to work and be comfortable knowing he is well taken care of. more

they are overstaffed, overworked, and incompetent. If you have to take off work in order to wait to get into another daycare place, do so. If you have to quit your job to take care of your child, do so. My child was physically abused here and the staff did not inform me, and the management was not sympathetic to my complaints. DO NOT GO HERE. I would rate it a zero but citysearch wouldnt let me. more

I've had my child at this center for a little over 6 months now. They seem to go through a new director every month. They are very lacking in their communication with parents except to remind you to pay them. They use the teachers as glorified janitors--every time I pick up my child they seem to be sweeping, bleaching, mopping something. I would rather they be teaching or playing with my child than doing janitor work that would be best taken care of after the center closes for the night. They make changes to your child's class without notifying you, they don't notify parents if a contagious illness is going around or if any of the children get lice. None of the other parents seem particularly involved or even care to learn the name of their child's teacher. Unfortunately in this part of town your choice of child care is very limited. We've been trying to get into other day care centers since the day he enrolled. The only thing they have going for them is they usually have open more
