After a day of dodging the menu hawkers along Ocean Drive we were blessed to discover La Locanda. We were warmly welcomed at the door, seated immediately, served graciously, relished a wonderful Caprese salad, devoured delicious pasta dishes, and smiled when signing off on a reasonable bill that let us decide the amount of the tip...opposed to the gratuity added bills we had experienced in our earlier South Beach dining experiences. Walk a few blocks west of Ocean Drive to La Locanda. You will be glad you did.
