La Granja Margate

La Granja means farm or barn, but it should mean Palace of Awesome Tasty Food:) \r \r Three reason why to go here folks; Grilled Chicken Breasts, Tostones, and Onions. By far they make one of the best killer grilled chicken breast topped with onions and cilantro. The chicken has a nice mojo taste ( not sure what the marinade is) and it packs a good flavor punch. They have the BEST Tostones in Broward, but the main star here is the onion bar. They have three or four selections of chopped onions mixed with either hot, BBQ, or garlic sauce. I like the hot one and I always pour it over my chicken and scoop it on my tostones. If you have a passion for onions, which feels weird to even type, lol you must try La Granja. \r \r I have been to four different locations, but I like this one the best. Remember to get the Chicken Breast Platter with a salad instead of rice with a side of Tostones and you can be like me for 20 minutes and yes it feels and tastes good to be me:) Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry! more

I recently moved to Dallas, and I've trying to look for some restaurant that is similar to La Granja, but have had no success. I love this place! The food is delicious, my favorite dish is the #4 the boneless chicken breast with the rice, beans and sweet plantains. I am dying to eat this again and waiting on my next trip to FL so I can visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!! more

Their prices are getting out of line, but their food quality makes up for it. I'm gonna keep coming for a bit longer, but if they keep raising the prices I'm out. more

The rotisserie chicken is tasty, delicious, cooked to perfection, right amount of spices, and juicy. The rice and beans, are very good tasting. I say, the best Rotisserie chicken in Broward/South East Florida. The food is always fresh. They also serve grilled steaks, pork and chicken, served with rice and beans. Also sandwiches are loaded, and great tasting. Other side orders, yellow plaintains, yuca frita are very good. It's like a fast food restaurant, but with great tasting, home style cooking, with big portions and prepared to perfection. They have a Peruvian style salad/thick sauces bar which are excellent to add more flavor to your plate. The prices is reasonable, very affordable, and service is good. I highly recommend this restaurant because the taste, price, portions. It's delicous food. Pros: FOOD taste, cooked fresh, seasoned perfectly, juicy and value Cons: Need a bigger dinning room, this place gets packed and you may not find seat, so have to take out more
