It's a fun place for some Mexican-style tapas and Margaritas. It's hella cheap for happy hours. The portions are large with plenty of melted cheese on pretty much everything. The bartenders were really fun, cute and friendly, dancing in a group behind the bar for our entertainment in tight baby-tees and daisy dukes. more

Nothing better than a beautiful spring evening, good service, and decent food for a fair price. I ate here yesterday, and got just that. I started with a spicy tuna roll appetizer a decent roll with plenty of heat for $7, and another $7 for a decent glass of white wine. I had my eye on the Cioppino a favorite of mine, for $22 but by the time I finished the sushi and some crusty french bread, I though I'd get something a little smaller so I settled on the "Ocean Salad" for $14 - described as mixed greens covered with calamari, scallops, and shrimp. HAH! It wasn't small at all! It was a large plate of greens, with a LOT of seafood - guessing 8-10 ounces - on top, and dressed with a nice tangy dressing. Excellent! Maybe I'll go back tonight for the cioppino! more

well, i do not know how that people can say it is now good. it is wonderful. i really tought it was really good. from the salsa, to the appetizer. i do not know who make more authentic food, my mom or la fiesta. it was just the best decision to pick. if you are planning to go, don't doubt it. the nachos, the margarita, everything. i honestly, recommend it. price, not expensive, hey! don't forget, you are in the middle of downtown, do not expect taco shop prices of $1.71 per taco, you know that is more pricey. anyways, just go, and do not drive to get there because in Gaslamp, you can't get there easily. more
