Dated and cramped... only slightly better than some motels I've stayed at recently 5/23/2013

While the best feature of this hotel is its location, there are lot of things that are sub-par. The rooms are very small and dated. The mattress in the room I was in was so worn out and soft that I fell off the bed! The bathroom door is extremely narrow and you have to be a contortionist to maneuver around the bathroom. The shower temperature was not modifiable as it only came out HOT. There were no sun restricting drapes and no way to prevent the early morning sun from blinding you. The desk chair was cheap, uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. And this was supposed to be an upgraded room (the clerk said it was queen but the bed was clearly smaller), because I am a Marriott Rewards silver member. Bar was expensive, room service did not come on a cart and there was no in-room mini-bar. Quite disappointing for a name brand hotel. more
