Now that Loews has opened up a shiny new theater accross the street, it's kept the Grand Alderwood open as a discount, second-run theater. Previously the only such theater in the area was the Crest in Shoreline. While the Grand Alderwood doesn't have the funky charm of the Crest, it's arguably a better theater with better seating and audio. Pros: Cheap, Cheap, Cheap Cons: Mediocre seating, Mediocre decor, Mediocre concessions more

Comfortable Seating 1/22/2004

We had not been to this theater before, because of its lack of Stadium style seating. That was all forgotten when we sat down and realized that the comfort of the seats made up for that. I was disappointed that using Fandango only saves you if you think the movie will be sold out, you still have to wait in line to pick up your tickets from the box office. Standard movie fair in the snackbar and pretty good sound system in theaters. Pros: Comfy seats, Huge theaters, Great Parking lot Cons: No Fandango kiosk, No stadium seating more
