This place had been around for more than 20 years. My husband and I love this place for their vestede sandwiches (spleen with ricotta and another imported cheese), spaghetti w/ calamari, the ""pizza"" topped wit breadcrumbs and anchovies, seafood salad, rice balls, stuffed eggplant and other Sicialian specialties. You will only find these vestede sandwiches at this place and Sicily. They're very good and very rare! The old La Foccaceria was strictly Italian before but when they re-opened,they mixed Mexican menu for even more variety. Recommending Guacamole a La Mesa, sangria and their quesadillas. This place knows how to really serve great food! The prices are reasonable and the food is very satisfying!
