I knew the fish at Kyoto is undeniably fresh when I saw one of the chefs butcher up a 200 pound tuna in front of me. The sashimi is great, but the rolls are okay. The menu is creative but the rice on the rolls are like paste. It is a great place to get a drink on the weekends. Overall it is a good place.
