When my mother died, Kutis is who handled her service. My father, brothers, and sister met with the staff to arrange things. I was still traveling to town. Once I did arrive, I was never treated as a member of her immediate family. The staff allowed a niece to constantly reach in and touch my mother's corpse, and they overall gave me the feeling of "we have your money now, we are done with the customer service".\r
The treatment was so bad, that I convinced my dad to go to a competitor. Nine years later, we had many compliments on how his funeral was handled. \r
I think most Catholics go with Kutis, and many locals go there as it is locally owned. But the competitors are still staffed by people who are Catholic, and who have spent their entire lives here in STL.\r
I would NOT recommend Kutis ever!
