It's Disgusting and way overpriced ! 3/28/2011

Kool Bloo is gross. I've order there several times. Different things all bad. Not even just ok...disgusting! They've had their chances with me. It really isn't good. The burgers are made from some kind of mystery meat. Is that beef ? What is that !? It's just disgusting. And it's way, way over priced. Just call the local diner near where you live. It will be reasonably priced and you will be much happier. Kool Bloo is terrible !!! Did I say It was disgusting...? Just want to be clear about that. more

Gotta Love Kool Bloo 6/1/2010

The Gramercy location is my local Kool Bloo and it's convenient to both my apartment and my office. My favorite thing about Kool Bloo is the 24 hour delivery, I never have a late night craving that can't be met with the huge menu at Kool Bloo. I'm personally a big fan of the burgers, they're HUGE. The chicken burgers are also a favorite (they are chicken sandwiches), my go to is the California Chicken Burger. The portions are generous and the food is fresh. The other awesome thing is that they've jumped on the social media bandwagon so I follow them now on Facebook and Twitter and am able to get some really great discounts. Just for becoming a Facebook fan I got a 25% discount! I will definitely keep coming back to Kool Bloo. Pros: Huge Menu, 24 Hour Delivery, Great Food more

Be wary 5/18/2009

Of places with large selection. Generally they don't make any 1 dish well The BBQ brisket sandwich tasted like paper and bbq sauce tasted like vinegar and syrup One bit and I threw it out Wife ordered the cajun chicken wrap. What little chicken it had tasted like old grease Rest had no taste at all Very pricey for fast food counter only service Better food and better prices at any other restaurants in the area more

They're Not Kidding: Good Food For Any Mood 4/28/2009

PEANUT BUTTER ON A BURGER! Yes, it's a strange combination. But in New Orleans (my home town, REPRESENT!), it's commonplace. We are, after all, strange people.\r \r It's been seven years since I last lived there, three since my last visit, and, oh, how I've wished for the idea to catch on somewhere, nay, anywhere in the tri-state area. \r \r The Kool Bloo menu landed on my doorstep a few months back. I was impressed with the number of burgers they offered, but somehow overlooked the, ""Sticky Burger"" (Meat, bacon, PB, joy). In the mood to try a new place, I was thumbing through my large stack of menus, and this time around, the ""Sticky,"" didn't escape my gaze. \r \r It came in twenty minutes. I devoured it in ten. And twenty minutes later, I was in the best kind of food coma. One that, previous to my introduction to Kool Bloo, seemed only possible in Cajun Country. Pros: FINALLY! PB BURGER! Cons: Menu Might Be Too Big more

a ripping off 3/23/2009

from the menu, I didn't think it was pricey. Ordered twice, the price is ridiculous Got a Togo menu, didn't think it was pricey. Ordered twice. It is ridiculous price compare to the quality&portion of the food. 1/4 roasted chicken was delivered actually 1/8size. Where was the chicken thigh? Didn't complaint. There are tons of good ones. more

healthy but bland 8/23/2006

my brother & i ordered from kool bloo via seamlessweb yesterday night. their menu is extensive. they have at least 25 different burgers (not different as in meat types, but different with respect to the toppings on them), so we had a hard time choosing. in the end my brother chose the good ol days burger (beef w/mushrooms & swiss, $8.95) and i chose the california veggie burger ($8.95). my brother also chose to add fries ($2), and for an extra $4, chicken noodle soup plus a chocolate chip cookie.\r \r our food arrived pretty quickly, and it was still very hot. we were a little disappointed with the way that everything tasted though. despite obviously fresh ingredients, everything tasted quite bland. the beef burger wasnt seasoned enough and the soup was completely tasteless. the fries & cookie were ok and we ended up finishing those. my veggie burger was a little better it came stuffed with fresh vegetables, a veggie patty, and in a whole wheat pita coated with a smoky-tasting hummus. however, i still found it lacking taste a little more salt would definitely have been better. my burger came with a side of fresh salad as well.\r \r overall, the food tasted healthy, but not good. will probably not order from here again. Pros: relatively inexpensive, fast delivery, fresh ingredients Cons: bland food more
