The word is damn, with an n. But in any case, I personally find it very offensive that you have slandered this excellent doctor. Dr. Katz is one of the most compassionate doctors have ever known in my long life, and if you had to come in to be pre-checked, it may have been a nuisance for you, but it was for your own good, and not because your $15 was so badly needed. Just be happy your co-payments are so small, most people's insurance isn't nearly so good. Please reconsider your savaging of this fine doctor and of the fine organization that is Leonia Medical Associates. more

Horrible service when it comes to a real illness. My wife has had a severe back problem for last three days preventing her from daily functions and work. Dr. Katz was more interested in having her come in for a $15.00 co pay visit so he could write out a prescription for an X-ray. We constantly have to call the office to check on status of tests being done by Englewood Hospital and not one courtesy call from this Dam Dr. or his staff to check on my wife's condition. My wife has been bed ridden since Tuesday afternoon and no results from Dr. Katz yet.\r We will definitely search for a new family Doctor after this experience. This medical association seems heartless and treat the medical profession as just a way to make a living, the hell with the patients and their illnesses. more

I've been a patient of Leonia Medical for the past 13 years & must admit that I DREAD having to go there for exams, checkups, or any medical reason at all. Granted, you're not always feeling your best when calling a drs office and due to this, you might easily be offended, but the staff here is not only constantly rude, short & curt on the phone but they bring a whole new feeling of discomfort to you when you arrive in person. Everything from scheduling an appt, checking-in for your appt, presenting your insurance i.d. etc is always a hassle. And Lord help you if you're not ready to come up with the co-pay before seeing the Dr. Clearly they don't like their jobs or have any tolerance for dealing with the public.\r \r After you're checked in & it's time to visit the actual doctor, you really need to have some thick skin if you're a patient of Dr. Kocher. I can't speak to the other doctors on staff in this group practice who might actually be Prince Charmings, but wow, Dr. Kocher missed the class on Beside Manner 101 during his medical schooling. While he seems to be very well versed & experienced in the world of medicine, he's abrupt & condescending when (barely) holding a conversation with you. I've never left feeling good about myself; mostly due to the fact that he speaks down to you during your entire time with him & then bolts out the door as if the room is on fire (never looking back to see if his patient has escaped). \r \r I'm sure there must be some well-mannered, happy individuals employed at Leonia Medical, but unfortunately, I haven't met them yet. Might be time for me to find a new physician's office. One where I don't leave feeling worse than when I arrived.\r \r more
