Not exactly the Knitch I was expecting.... 2/4/2007

These guy stole the name of my favorite yarn shop, Knitch, also in Atlanta. The real Knitch opened about 6 months before this "boutique" and I love it, so, I went to atlantic station expecting this to be the second location of the Knitch I love amd instead found an empty shop with no customers....and no yarn! I can't believe they would get away with opening a shop with the same name, so confusing! I guess it would have been okay if something was actually going on in there but it was EMPTY and there was NO SERVICE....how dissapointing! I'll be going to the original Knitch from now on...and, I'll give these guys 6 months unless they've got some deep pockets! Pros: Cool Name...even if its stolen! Cons: Just about everything else! more

Specialty Boutique?.........Where's The Merchandise? 12/18/2006

For the past few months, we have been reading all the hype about this specialty boutique coming to Atlantic Station, with all these Designer Lines, never shown in Atlanta. Lights were on, and in we went. Hmmmmm! Hey guys, this is the big holiday season, where is the merchandise. The poor staff, who were very nice, looked embarrased, and we felt for them. Displayed on two long makeshift garment tables, were a very small selection of jeans and folded t-shirts. Hanging were a few items, that looked like they were samples taken out of a showroom. On one wall were tiny lockers, we guessed were for VIP patrons, to lock-up their selections, or maybe a little place to put a bottle for a drink, while shopping. To the right of that was a very small bar, two stools, and nothing to drink, not even sparkling water. We know this place just opened, but we wonder if they should have waited until the New Year, when they have something to sell. We will keep our eyes on this one, and hopefully they will bring it to us. Hey guys, I just remembered, there is already a store in ATL, called "Knitch". It's been around for a couple of years, and they specialize in knitting products. This is not good planning or merchandising. Pros: It's New! Cons: No Merchandise To Sell! more
