Cool place, lots of stuff.. 3/14/2012

I needed a hat cause I was cold. I was in this area so I went into the kmart. I found my happy go little pom pom style yankee hat there. I purchased it, and I carried on. The store is huge, you can probably find anything in there. I love these massive stores. Though they too probably caused alot of mom and pop shops to close in the area, but just the same they created jobs. The check out girl had purple hair and lots of tattoos, interesting look, can't say I'm a fan. I was with my son and his mom, she had no trouble finding her socks, and my son had a blast trying on different ski masks. I had some good laughs. When I asked for help, the gentleman was polite and assisted me. The experience was brief, but was pleasant. more

shop shop shop!!!! 6/22/2011

Back in the day my mom used to take me to Kmart Stores all the time. They even had a luncheonette, where we would have breakfast on the cheap ? and while those cheap breakfast days have come and gone, I still love going to Kmart, when I can. They have lots of cool stuff - clothing, sheets, towels, microwaves, and gardening supplies ? so it?s often one stop shopping for me. more

Hidden Deals 6/20/2011

Sometimes you think you can find whatever you are looking for by going into one of these stores, especially around the holidays. And it?s true; you could find most of what you want at a very decent price. In order to find it, you really have to dig through products and walk over the mess, and push your way through to where you are getting at. Don?t get me wrong, when I hear my niece say that she wants princess earrings, I first look to see what a Kmart or Target has to offer. I love shopping in small independent shops but it could be just so expensive. This Kmart is in a great location if you?re looking to do some more shopping too. The main problem I have with it is the way it?s organized or shall I say lack of it. Maybe it?s just around the holidays that I see this the most but it gets really confusing to where things are located. Sometimes I think they are going to have one product and then I find that they don?t. And sometimes I can?t believe that they have some of the products that I find. It could be a one-stop shopping place if you have patience. This place is like I said, definitely cheaper for many different products. It?s also so easy to get to since it?s connected to Penn Station and there are many trains that go there. If there were anything I could change it would be the set up and organization of it. That still doesn?t stop me from going here every Christmas. more

A Good Place To Get Just About Everything 10/26/2006

This is a good store, with good prices. They have a good selection to choose from, especially if you don't want to spend a great deal on houseware. I bought my kitchen table and chairs from Kmart and everyone who comes to my house things it's Pottry Barn...(and I only spent about $200.) It's worth a trip if you're watching your wallet. Pros: Lots of merchandies to choose from; prices Cons: Multi-level building and elevator can be slow more
