DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ORDERING ONLINE!! 3/10/2011

This was my first experience with Kitchen Kaboodle and will be my last. I can only speak for the online department as I have never been inside a store. I placed an order online on a Friday and never received an email or confirmation of shipment. I finally called on Tuesday and was informed that the order hadn't even been shipped yet!! I was completely disappointed and was told that they have had issues with online ordering not being shipped out in a timely manner and that they are only open 4 days a week, excuse, excuse , excuse. It sounds like they have some figuring out to do and meanwhile, I had to cancel my order and went straight to Amazon. My order was shipped within a day. Kitchen Kaboodle..good luck to you.. more

Good selection, no service, no AMEX!! 12/1/2009

If you wish to be an upscale kitchen goods store located in an upscale area like NW 23rd Avenue, then you ought to accept AMEX, the preferred card of the upscale shopper. Also, coming out from behind the checkout counter and showing ANY interest in the customers may help. Other than the above, you cannot beat the location, and this two-level store has a nice selection of goods. Pros: Good selection of upscale kitchen goods, location Cons: Indifferent customer service; does not accept AMEX more

black cast iron skillet 2/24/2008

I recently purchased a black cast iron skillet from Kitchen Kaboodle. I needed a new skillet, as my old one had found an untimely death of being torched in a grease fire on the top of my stove. (My fault, not the skillet's.) Kitchen Kaboodle sold my boyfriend and myself on the idea of a black cast iron skillet, sure to outlast us, completely un-ruin-able... That is, as long as you never wash it with soap. That being said, it is hard to keep a pan in your kitchen that is never to be cleaned with out soap. While this was not Kitchen Kaboodle's fault, the pan bit the dust. Pros: great customer service Cons: i've been known to ruin cooking pans... more

Customer service? 7/30/2002

Kitchen Kaboodle is a good place to go for gifts, but I always leave here feeling frustrated. They've got some good merchandise, but the NW store in particular is cluttered, almost to the point of being junky. That, and the customer service is nonexistant. Nobody ever asks me if I need help or is friendly in any way; they're not rude, they're just indifferent. I feel like a lot of their stuff is overpriced, too, even when it's on sale. I'll see the same things elsewhere for cheaper. But for some reason I keep shopping here. (The Broadway location is better.) more
