Recently did a full bath remodel and worked with Marilyn from Kitchen and Bath Authority. I was very pleased with the customer service and craftmanship. Marilyn returned my calls very promptly and when she told me the installers would be there they showed up right on time. more

Outstanding Craftsmanship and Service 11/27/2010

I have dealt with K & B Authority for the past 15 years . . . they have remodeled our kitchen, three bathrooms, and a utility room. The craftsmanship has been excellent, and the customer service surperior. Big box outfits come and go, their installers come and go, K & B Authority has stayed in the same place, same owner, and a lot of the same staff, it all adds up to peace of mind, and a job very well done. more

Overall Satisfaction 11/28/2009

On the contrary, I found the designer as well as the contractor to be quite knowledgable. It took some time for me to research product and showrooms for my remodel project and with a referal to them as well as the references given by them, lead me to highly qualified people. With my taste, some of my product was a little difficult to come by, but I was willing to wait.I was extremely satisfied with the end results and would refer them to anyone. Outstanding job on my dream kitchen. Going back to have a bathroom done. Surprised at the other reviews, although I guess no one has the same experiences. Pros: Creative designs Cons: Special order lead times more

Very Poor Customer Service 8/28/2009

We recenlty had a kitchen remodel along with a few additional upgrades done. The communication between the designer and contractor were extremely poor. Kitchen and Bath Authority and their contractor could never admit to any fault during the entire process. It was always someone elses fault. Very poor workmanship on Corian Countertop and would not fix even after numerous calls. They were very concerned about getting their money, but it's been 3 months since they installed the bamboo floor and they still haven't removed excess glue!!!!! They weren't experienced with type of stairrail we wanted but said "Oh, No problem"; then proceeded to charge us an additional $400 because it took them two days to complete. Also damaged glass during install and didn't fix!! Very Very expensive and Very poor communication, customer service, and overall work. Pros: Cant think of any Cons: Very Poor Customer Service more

Outrageous contract costs 11/30/2007

I was astounded to know that the labor costs to install a 4x5' tile floor; vanity, mirror, stool, storage cabinet/towel bar above the stool and some accessories was estimated to cost $4100! When questioned, I was told labor averages about $600 per day. That means to do what I consider to be a relatively simple straightforward job would take about 7 days. Not happy with whatever contractor this retailer uses, but given the costs, I don't recommend them. more
