Bargain Children Clothing 8/24/2005

If you're looking for cheap children clothing in the local Bensonhurst area. Kings may be for you. It sells clothing for children in variety of ages such as infancy, toddler, preschoolers, and children. They sell coats, dresses, shirts, t-shirts, suits, slacks, and school uniforms. Most items are not overpriced and if you are a parent looking to save a few bucks, this place is for you. I've bought ties and socks for 1 dollar. T shirts were less than 10 dollar. The only down side to this store is if you are a parent with a stroller you have to leave it outside of the store where they lock it (sort of like a bicycle lock). more

Bargain Clothing 8/18/2005

King's Clothing is located on 18th ave in Bensonshurst Brooklyn surrounded by pharmacies, photo shops, and fast food places. King has clothing for women, men, boys and infants. Their clothes are cheap and great if you want to wear it once for a school performance or practice. However, the quality of the clothing is not that great and doesn't seem that comfortable. Their are school uniforms for cheap so if you rkids often get them dirty, this is the place to go to replace them. Store is messy and is sometimes hard to find what you need. more

Leave Your Stroller at the Door 8/17/2005

I tried to shop at Kings but alas we never made it inside. I guess we missed the sign that states no strollers allowed and a man stepped in front of the doorway to block our entry. He pointed to the row of chains and muttered something about using them to lock up my stroller and then turned away. My son was less than two months old at the time, I was still recovering from a cesarean and the infant stuff from what I could tell was down a flight of stairs. There was no way I could go inside with the baby without the stroller. While I understand that they may need to have this policy perhaps they could have been a bit friendlier in explaining it. more
