Kings Plaza has been around for many years (I think 30?) A few years ago it wasn't looking so great. It was dark and dingy, not like the beautiful suburban malls I often go to. Then they redid it and added skylights, nice floors on the lower level and new carpeting on the upper level, and recently beautiful murals of early Brooklyn, including one of the Brooklyn Bridge on the elevators, and it looks really nice now!
There are many good stores there such as Sears and Macy's, Bath and Body Works, Gap, Banana Republic and The Children's Place. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 4 is because of the lack of good restaurants. The only ones they have are Sbarro's, McDonald's, Burger King, Nathan's, a small fast food Chinese restaurant and a couple of other small fast food type restaurants. I wish they had a nice sit down type restaurant there. They used to have Chi-Chi's and another one, I think it was Red Robin, but they are gone now. Also gave it 3 stars because they make you pay $2 for parking, which is ridiculous. Overall though, I do love this mall because it's close to my house and I can walk there. I spend a lot of time there when I have nothing else to do and it's a nice day out.
