I can't believe anyone has given this place a good review. Crappy layout-who made the lousy decision to place the bars directly in conflict of people coming into and out of the venue?. Bad sound. Overpriced drinks. Nonexistent security unless you stand up for five seconds to let someone out of your aisle. Not near enough seating or they're massively overselling the tickets. We went to see Grinderman and ended up having to leave before the show ended because we got stuck in front of a bunch of a drunk idiots. It's not the venue's fault they sat near us, however I do blame them for continuing to serve drinks to women who were not only obviously already obnoxiously drunk, but also failing to curtail them when it was painfully obvious that they were out of control and annoying everyone around them. Unfortunately, moving did not help because there was virtually no place to go. I would never go here again unless the performer I was going to see was never going to tour again. Actually, that might not even do it. Unless you were going to see a show in which only about twenty people were expected to attend, I'd avoid it at all costs. I would like to give it no stars, but that is not allowable. more

I attended a show on Halloween 2008 at the King Cat Theatre. I bought drinks that night. Gave the bartender my card and than later sigh for them at the end of the night. Later that week I looked at my online account to see if it went thur. It did. Now 8 months later my card was charged again for the same amount from that night. I called my bank and made a dispute against it and close my card. I heard from friends that he did this to everyone that night and from other nights. I will not go there again nor will anyone of my friends. Bad business man. I'm sure he's grabbing at straws here. Oh, and the drinks were very expensive and the bartender were not very efficent. Pros: The place was big that's all. Cons: The owner is a shady. more

awesome vibe and music the hottest girls and not pretentious like other bars in Seattle I'm from Vancouver but drive down every weekend to jam! Pros: great music, great crowd Cons: should stay open longer more
