Funny, my son has been in that the toddler for quite some time now,and I have nothing but good reviews.My son loves coming to daycare and loves his teachers. I was very sad when I heard that 1 of the teachers was retiring and the other was leaving.The teachers are great,I have never seen any of the teachers be excited to see my husband or any other fathers,they are more happy to see my son.The staff has talked to me and my husband personally about our son, they do write on the papers, but thats good because there are days that we run late and cant talk to the staff, either way its still communication.If you are really unhappy maybe you need to find another daycare,or if you are not working by choice then keep your child home.Can you even begin to imagine how it is to take care of 1 toddler with their mood swing,now think of six or more toddlers and they all have different personalities at the same time.I really commend the staff and everyone that takes care of little children,I have done my research and have learn that this age group is one of the toughest age groups to handle, just be grateful or do it yourself. Teachers are very immature. Perhaps they should be students as well as the babies. That is how they act. They complain about children coming to the center when there is bad weather. They complain when kids have runny noses. They do not tell the parent problems that occur thu the day instead they leave notes, how cowardly. They ignore the children when they come to class. No good morning. I have witnessed kids standing on tables and chairs while the teachers have there backs turned. I witnessed kids eating inappropriate items. This is the toddler room where there are 3 teachers but only one act like she is interested in the students. When I ask one of the other teacher a question her response is always I do not know and she is always sitting down. Parents bring jawbreakers, and now later candies to the party and no one complained about it. They wiped my child's nose with his shirt and jacket. When I pick him up his nose is runny.My child has had a diaper rash twice. One of the teachers always always excited to see my husband, she actually screamed once she was so happy to see him and never ever have any words for me. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. Ms. L is a horrible teacher. Management will not do anything but protect their teachers because they can always get more kids. Parents run as fast as you can if your child is in that age range.
