We have a child at KUC...and can't be more pleased. Our child has some emotional delays due to formerly living in an abusive home. They have worked with us and our therapist to make sure his emotional developmental continued at least at its current rate during the tranisition from being at home constantly to attending daycare for the first time. We have been stunned with how in less than 6 months we have a different child. He is social, out going (before we could not even take him to WalMart due to his anxienty), and has learned so much. He can count to 10 (before age 2), name shapes, sing part of his ABCs, learns about relationships that are meaningful with his teachers and staff, and how to be a good person to his peers. We cannnot sing enough praise for this facility. No...they do not follow the USDA food program (as complained about below) but that is something we really wanted to make sure that if my child would not eat something on the menu that he could bring his lunch (if a facility participates in the USDA program no child can bring food from home...no exceptions...not even cupcakes for a birthday). I have a very flexible job and stop in to ""check"" on things during the day as I pass the facility...NEVER have a worried about child to teacher ratio! \r
Please know that this is a facility that is locally owned and operated, acts as a team in caring for your child, and offers opportunities that no other facility in the Valley could promise/deliver. \r
Thank you, KUC!!!!!!!!
