I have been going to KJ for the past 8 years, and they do have some good prices. I recommend shopping for clothes and toys for the younger age group (8 yrs. and younger), very good stuff. But, for older than 8 is hard to find everyday clothes that are functional and cute. You'll have better luck finding dresses for that special occasion, or Sunday clothes. Over the years, they have gotten nastier, and pickier. But, I don't know whether it is that they are more willing to buy little kids clothers rather than older kids clothes (as my kids have grown). They do tend to make you feel dirty, and yes customer service at Goodwill IS tons better. As far as kids are concerned, when my kids were little they did look forward to playing in the back. But I was also careful not to allow them to run around the store or go under the racks as did alot of other children. All in all, I do go there for special ocassion dresses for my girls, and pants for boys, but I'd rather bless someone with my kids clothes than deal with those ladies and NOT get much money. BY THE WAY THERE IS A MUCH BETTER RESALE STORE WITH WONDERFUL SERVICE, KID-TO-KID in the shopping center on Huebner and Vance Jackson.
Pros: clothes for special ocassions
Cons: questionable service
