This place is a wonderful place. I love knowing that when i drop my son off at kids country he will be well taken care of. my son have been at kids country since he was 6 months old and he absolutly loves it here. They are aware of his allergies and never once have i had a problem with the staff feeding my child something he couldnt have.on days when my son does ot go to kids country he asks to go and sometimes crys when i tell him its not a school day. further more tamara and jenny are the most awesome director and program supervisor i have ever met. this center is a very loving and friendly place to have your kids i honstly would not take my son anywhere else more

Overall Not a Good Place. 3/5/2011

Basically I was an employee there for quite a while and was treated horribly. I only stayed because they worked with my school scheduel, but got out once I was able to do so. Corporate and local management are so rude and disrespectful to their employees, and even to parents behind their backs. More than once food was brought to classrooms with mold on it. And once my boss even told me to serve the ones without mold even though they were all put in the same container. Which is completely discusting. I understand children need to be involved with other children, which this day care provides. The teachers are also great people, but most of the time cannot handle certain situations correctly. Not because they do not want to, but because they are not capable because management will not provide the ways to do so. Overall I would seek childcare elsewhere or even a private provider. This place is just to sketchy. more

Child Neglect 6/24/2010

If I had the ability to give this establishment a negative rating I would do so for their inability to provide the minimum requirements of childcare. My son was at Kids Country in Maple Valley for 2 months and in that two months there were three incidents. Pros: Some of the staff Cons: The rest of the staff more

kids country in maple valley 6/18/2005

I've worked it and found it to be one of the worst jobs I've ever had. Corporate expects the teachers and children to do to many activities and I feel it is over load for the students. They kids are not given enough outdoor time nor are they given enough time to spend doing free play. Even though there are cameras and voice capabilties from te rooms to the office. Teachers that are well known by the staff to not be the best choice for working in child care are allowed to stay. The infant room is great but all other rooms are not run in a manner that is best for the children. There is no abuse but the teachers there are just working a job and do not take it seriously enough. children deserve instruction and care from people who choose this line of work as a career. PROS: cameras in classrooms CONS: teachers don't care enough about their jobs. more
