Kickbacks Gastropub HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 4/16/2011

There have been multiple occasions but 4/15/2011 and 4/16/2011 were the straw that broke the camels back. On 4/15/2011 at 8:22pm we placed an order for delivery that took 5 minutes and 6 sec and she told me that the food would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. We asked if that was an accurate time as we have been told this information before and it actually took an hour and a half upwards of 2 hours to receive our food and we needed to be somewhere and just need to know an accurate time for our planning. The girl who took our order assured us the food would be here in the time frame promised. As I was ending the call I could hear her telling another person there that we were difficult. We called back at 9:22pm after the promised delivery time and the girl who took our order said that the driver was now on there way. The same thing happened again with the girl who took our order making a comment about us as we ended the phone call. The food did not arrive for ANOTHER 30 minutes after we spoke with her.On 4/16/2011 an order was placed at 10:08pm with again the same girl we spoke with the night before and she said that it would take no more than 1 hour for the food to be delivered. At 11:15pm a called was placed again to find out the ETA. She said that it would not be more than 20 minutes. At midnight we called back to find out where the food was. The girl who took our order said that they were busy and she was sorry. We said that this was unacceptable. We then asked to speak with a manager. She said that the manager had stepped out. She then proceeded to argue with us and state that we were wrong. We said that if the food showed up cold he was not going to pay for it and take it back. She continued to argue with us and stated that the kitchen was slow and began putting the kitchen staff down. We asked for the owners name. A guy came to the phone and id himself as owner. We told him the issues with the service. The owner said that they are busy and refused to acknowledge the extremely poor service and the rude employee and the way she spoke with us. The owner said the reason the food was taking so long was because he was building a 3 story building across the street. We asked what that had to do with the situation. The owner continued to argue with us. The delivery driver finally showed up. We told him the situation and he showed us the ticket and stated that the order wasn't placed until 10:42pm. When the driver was leaving he flipped us off. We asked how that was professional and he said he didn't care. We told him that we would complain to management and the driver said that management would believe him and not us and he wasn't worried about it. When the driver walked out the door he gave the sign language sign for f you and came back to the door and flipped us off AGAIN. Our apartment building has camera's and we have it on recording. When we told the owner that his driver flipped us off he wasn't concerned nor did he apologize or believe us. The owner then proceeded to say that he wasn't worried who we complained to because he wasn't corporate and wasn't worried about word of mouth. At that point we terminated the call because we couldn't believe everything that just happened. We want to bring this to the publics attention because with the current state of the economy people should appreciate money spent and not act in such an unprofessional manner and for the owner to tell us that they don't care about our business and nothing is going to happen..Shame on him! Is this fair when the business was in the wrong and then treated us like we were the problem?? \r more
