I love Keys Cafe. I've been to the one in White Bear Lake, Roseville and Minneapolis. First of all, I really enjoy the atmosphere. It truley is a family business. I love family run businesses. It's what this country is made of, people with a dream, people taking risks, people with the desire to provide something of quality. That is what Keys provides. A haven in a world clogged with fast food joints on every corner. I love their cinnamon rolls and farmers omlet. I get the chocolate milk too. It's the only place I get it. I also enjoy their hasbrowns.
If you want a fun eating experience, check out the one in Minneapolis. Grab a paper from the box outside, if there are any left, get a table or a seat at the counter, and enjoy. If you want a family dining experience, the Roseville location is great. Family photos on the wall, friendly wait staff. They often have samples of their bakery product...lovely! Sometimes there is a wait, especially on Sunday's after chruch. White Bear location is least exciting, but if you're out for the day, downtown White Bear is a hub of unique, fun little shops.
p.s. I share the farmer's omlet, so big, so tasty, so good. :)
