On a previous occasion, my oldest son was tested for allergies, we were given a number to call for results, which always told us that there was no information. We asked the office. The staff told us that was the only info was thru this number. So even tho our ins was charged, we have NEVER received the results of the test. Now last week we were rescheduled (from an appt) to get our sons shot records (maintained at the hospital we usually use) . We told the staff that our son would have to bring our other son because my husband was having surgery the day before they had available. They said it was fine. NEVER said anything about an age or parent, or we would've simply scheduled a different day. When they get there today they at first say no they won't see him without an adult. But then she talked to a supervisor and said as long as they have my verbal consent it's ok. After waiting 1.5 hrs AND taking all vitals and such they send my son away without medical care saying that a parent had to be there, otherwise it was against the law. Would have been fine if they told us right away, but dont give permission and then make us wait 1.5 hrs first!! So the law changed in the last hour, since you said it was ok?? When I asked to speak with DR Kellum he refused to talk to me and told his girl to tell me to file a complaint with whoever I wanted, he didn't care and would even provide the phone numbers to do it. Guess he doesn't care if his staff gives quality care or not. Shows how much he himself cares about his patients. We have given them several opportunities, and they have failed each time. I believe that anyone can make a mistake, but they have sent us away without care twice now. Once for the shot records, and then today. Dr Kellum's attitude today was the final straw. Can't expect quality care from any company if the owner himself has such a bad attitude.
