I can't even explain to someone that renting from here would be one of the biggest mistakes they will ever make. The manager at this place is one of the worst human beings I've ever met in my life. You will experience her mental instability immediately when you try to fill out an application to live in a house from their properties. Your immediate gut instinct will be that the woman is just rude and you will think to yourself, "Well, I'll be a good tenant. I won't have issues with her." From that point on after you have signed the lease, your whole life will be shaken. You will be stalked, taunted, emails will be sent to you over petty things . If you try to talk to her about it, you will be treated like a slave and will be whipped into her commands or else the charges will just keep rolling in. If you question anything she does, she will make sure that you pay the price by tacking horrific unfounded charges onto your rent. She will claim they are due the same time as your rent and if you don't pay, you will be evicted . You think that you can fight her in court but then you realize the court systems are crazy, time consuming and possibly more expensive than the costs she demands. You will end up, evicted, nowhere to live, owing 2-3 thousand dollars, lose your entire deposit even though there are no damages and stand there in the end wondering what in the hell just happened with your head spinning. Your choices are to be homeless in the middle of a semester or pay the hundreds of dollars she demands. It is important that you really try to find somewhere else to live besides renting from Kaufmann Properties. The woman running it is a cold hearted woman who will take you for all you have and hang you up to dry.
