I've been to Kashkaval twice now, once this winter and once last- the food is still so good! This place is part restaurant, part wine bar and part store, which is nice since the tapas are delicious and you can also buy them up front before you get to the restaurant part. The wine is great, the cheese fondue is my favorite and the tapas are made up of a great Mediterranean selection. The only thing that was dissapointing this time around was the wait- we were seated right away but then had to wait to order, had to wait to order another glass of wine and then waited close to 15 minutes before someone walked by so we could order dessert- keeping in mind there's probably 7 tables in the whole back area. I wasn't in a ruch but there was absolultely no attention paid to us whatsoever....last year I remember the service being very good, so maybe it was just the night we went. I'd still recommend since the atmosphere is cozy and I love a good fondue place.
Pros: great tapas and fondue
Cons: waiting can take awhile once seated
