Best fabric store on the island 10/29/2008

I shop here every year when we visit to buy fabrics to sew our alohawear for next year's visit. Even my husband and sons come in with me to choose their fabric - and they do not like shopping. I don't quilt, but with all of the wonderful quilts displayed, not to mention all of the beautiful fabrics, I may get inspired. Although we only come once or twice a year, the staff remembers us and makes us feel like ohana! more

Great store for Hawaiian quilts and materials 7/24/2006

I had to stop -- there was a huge red and white Hawaiian quilt in the window and the store just looked absolutely charming. It was near closing time, but they let me sneak in and shop. The store carries materials for quilts, completed quilts, and shirts & dresses made from Hawaiian fabric. Great service and a fun place to find unique gifts to bring home. Nice Selection of Hawaiian Quilts 10/13/2005

The Kapaia Stitchery is the place for quilters. They sell unique Hawaiian quilt designs, quilting supplies, needlework designs, patterns and fabrics. They have a nice selection of Hawaiian-print fabrics that can be custom-made into aloha wear. more
