I took my girlfriend to Kahn's for lunch because I heard pretty good things about it from a couple friends, but my god, what a huge mistake. Immediately, I noticed that the breads and meats were left out on open bins instead of in refrigerated and sealed serving platforms (like Subways and Quiznos), the prices were astronomical for sandwiches, and the tiny ""cash-only"" sign that's displayed at the counter should be displayed on a big sign at the front of the restaurant, so customers without cash won't go in there blind-sighted. The icing on this nightmare cake however, are the three dead R O A C H E S my girlfriend and I found at the foot of the tables, after we got our sandwiches and sat down to eat. Needless to say, not a single bite was made, we threw our sandwiches in the trash where it belonged, and we left, angry and disgusted.
Pros: Seems like a great 1950's mom and pop deli.
Cons: Health and Hygiene still stuck in the 1950's.
