On Monday, sept. 14th 2009, I was watching the Chargers/Oakland game enjoying a few drinks at a bar I had hoped to become more of a regular at. My good-times quickly diminished when a bartender (who was off-duty) from the same bar came in and sat a few stools down from me. He had followed me into the restroom twice before, and was now hopping from stool to stool till he was next to me, and placed his hand on my knee and slid towards the crotch region. After being warned once, which is more than can be expected from a southern gentleman, he attempted again. I finished my drink asked for my tab. Upon receiving it I said, ""This is 35 bucks, I don't want to pay because I was just groped by an employee."" I then pulled out my phone and called the police. They and one customer grabbed the 35 and threw me out the door and locked it to get their stories straight. There is now a case being brought up and I hope to speak to the manager or owner but in this incident I got tagged with no trespass papers. So in short, this bar sums up the whole atmosphere of Manassas; You try to be a polite, well-paying customer, and instead you get groped, harassed, kicked out, and banned. But then again, why would I come back to such a place?
Cons: sexual assaults executed by staff and condoned by on-duty
