This drive in has been around for a long time. They are a lot like Zippys since they have a sit down restaurant and serve American and local dishes, like a coffee shop. The restaurant is clean and it was renovated a few years ago. The food is delicious but nothing fancy. Prices are moderate. more

Convenient 9/1/2005

I like this drive in because it is located at the beginning of Kapahulu Avenue and there is ample parking. This restaurant serves your typical drive in food. Similar to Zippy's, this restaurant service local plate lunches such as chicken katsu which is my favorite. The service is quick and the food is delicious. more

Old time favorite 8/6/2005

KC Driven in has been around for longer than I can remember. Their food selection is similar to other local favorite places. One of things I have always loved eating at KC Driven in was their waffle dogs! Still, if you are in the area of Kapahulu, I'd recommend checking out Rainbows instead. more

One of My Favorites 8/6/2005

This is one of my favorite family drive in style restaurants. The menu is similar to Zippy's with fast food menu items like plate lunches, saimin, chili, burgers and fries. The service is fast and the waitstaff are friendly. This drive in is very easy to find because it is at the end of Kapahulu Avenue if you drive towards the mountains. The prices are just right if you want to dine out with your family. This is an island favorite. more
