K-9 Country Club

K9 is a wonderful place for our dogs. It is a family run business and they treat all dogs like family. Holly and her staff are very friendly and they are very attentive and loving with the dogs. We have taken our dogs to K9 for daycare and boarding for years. We highly recommend K9 for all your daycare and boarding needs. more

I have been brining my 2 dogs to K9 for years. It is their home away from home when I am out of town. They go to day care on a regular basis and wait at the door when i ask if they want to go to day care. When my 1 dog had knee surgery they were able to accommodate her when she insisted on going to day care with my other dog until she was healed and ready to play in regular day care. more

I have four labs, and while hating that i had to leave them anywhere i had to due to a death in the family, i called every kennel in town and the only one equipped to put all of my dogs together was k-9.\r To top it off on the way home from Kansas city I knew I wasn't going to be able to make it back before they closed, the owners who live on site were very understanding of my situation and took care of me. I will never use anyone else. more

It was two years ago when i first brought my dog in, she was nervous at first but now if i even say daycare her ears perk up and she runs for the door. The employes love her so much and every time she comes through they smile and come and pet her, i would never go anywhere else! more

TERRIBLE!!! The last 3 times we took our dog here we asked them to make sure she got water. Because as soon as we got her home she would go straight to her water dish and drink until she made herself sick because she had had no water all day! The last time we took her for grooming we dropped her off at 7am and came to pick her up at 5:30pm and she still had not been groomed! The owners walked in and asked the kid working why my husband was waiting there and he told them and no one appologized! They didn't say a word to him! That's really great customer service! DO NOT USE K-9!!! more

Please, if you love your pet, DO NOT take your pet here! I have never left a review before in my life, however, I feel it necessary to speak out in hopes of saving others from the experience that I had. I know now why they do not take you back where your pet stays. I had to be taken back only because the kid working couldn't find my two little dogs. To my horror, I find my dogs cowering scared to death in the corner of their pen. There they sat, shaking from fear and from the cold, urine and feces covered concrete they sat on. Where was their oversized dog bed that I provided you ask? IN THE STORAGE ROOM WITH THE KENNELS I TOOK!! Great place for it!! There was music blaring so loud that you could hear it coming down the road. It managed to drown out the barking of the dogs it was so loud. Dogs ears are sensitive geniuses! Finally, to top it all off, there was NO FOOD OR WATER in the pen with my dogs. They drank two bowls of water when they got home. I had never seen anything like it. H more

I'm sorry to hear that others didn't have a good experience at K-9. When we adopted our dog (first dog I've ever had), we took him to K-9 for training. I really didn't know at all what I was doing, and K-9 came to my rescue (really -- I was bawling my eyes out in our kitchen after having our dog for about six days, but after getting him into basic training, he is an absolute joy). We also take him there 2-3 days a week for daycare. He can't get enough of it! As soon as we say the word "daycare," he races to the car with unbridled enthusiasm. We've also boarded him there several times, and he always comes out very happy. The owners (John and Holly) *really* know what they're doing -- I've learned so much from them about dogs' personalities, training them, feeding them, etc. We're getting another puppy this week, and will take her to K-9 for training, daycare, etc. I wouldn't take my beloved dogs anywhere else!!! more

I boarded my dog for one night with explicit instructions to only feed her the food that I brought in for her due to her having a bad stomach. I brought her home and she has vomited several times and now has diarhea. I called and was told she 'might' have been fed the incorrect food and she 'might' have been given the wrong snacks. I will NEVER bring my dog back. more

I have used the place for 6+ yrs, but the service continues to go downhill with each visit. Upon pickup they failed to tell me about my dogs badly torn pad, of which he will not bear weight and it is oozing. They also failed to care for it properly, during his stay. A bath service was requested prior to pickup and the dogs were returned dirty, without even mentioning the bath was not done. The owner was rude upon calling and inquiring about the injury and lack of service. I would not take my dogs there again. more

Here at K ( Country Club you can be sure your pet will be taken care of. They are great with the animals and treat them like they are there own. They are excellant here. They have some great prices for training. They fill up fast so you have to call a head of time to get in. They have a great location. more

We have taken our dog to K 9 each time we have gone out of town. They have a great new facility where you can select what size run you want your dog to have (prices vary based on size). We are happy with the facility, but think their customer service could use a little work. Most of the time the people at the front desk hardly pay any attention to you when you drop your dog off. more
