K. Norman Berry Associates Architects PLLC is engaged in the general practice of Architecture in the Kentucky and Southern Indiana areas. The firm has executed a large variety of projects ranging from educational and commercial to residential projects throughout the region. The firm provides services in architecture, master planning, interiors and urban planning. A major portion of the firm's work includes primary and secondary school facilities, offices and commercial structures, all of which require extensive experience in project evaluation and cost evaluation. A primary focus of the firm has been preservation of historic structures, with over 70 preservation and restoration projects completed. The firm has been recognized with numerous awards including an AIA National Design Award, four AIA Kentucky Design Awards and seven Preservation Awards. The firm received AIA Kentucky's Distinguished Firm Award in 1990 and Norman Berry was made a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects in 1993. In 1999 Mr. Berry was the recipient of the C. Julian Oberwarth Award given by the Kentucky Society of Architects. Various members of the firm, lead by Norman Berry and Steve Eggers, take active roles in civic issues as an effort to contribute to the community and to the state. In 2004 Mr. Berry was selected by the March of Dimes for the REACH Award in recognition of his civic and professional achievements. Steve Eggers was recognized by the Kentucky Society of Architects in 1999 with a Distinguished Service Award.
