I just want to say thank you to the owners of Just Loaf'n. I am a native New Orleanian, and while I love Atlanta, the lack of a decent shrimp po-boy has always left a hole in my ...

The food was great. I want to give these guys a thumbs up but I can't. I sat in my car to eat because my son went inside to order two more snowballs. The food was just like home...

First Visit 9/19/2008

Aiight, it was my first visit to this place right? right. My ole lady had already been with some friends that we met out here from New Orleans ( we actually moved up here this April). She was crazy excited when she returned home and insisted that i should go with her. We had just returned from N.O. for a wedding and we ate at all of our spots, Cajuns on Claiborne mostly.. but when i got to the restuarant i was amazed. i felt at home, the band was on fiya and the food was rolling ya dig!! If you are from N.O. and you want that good home food, this is the place.. i was upset that they didn't have one item that i wanted to order but everything was on point... and the Hurricane Katrina... ya gotta order dat!! i plan on going back as often as these gas prices will overall i give it 4 thumbs up. Pros: New Orleans food.. Period. Cons: It could be bigger more

Unfortunately... 8/19/2008

Unfortunately?\r Nothing could have prepared us for what we heard as we walked in on Tuesday at about 5:30 pm. We were greeted with a very bad show of customer service from one of your employees. We sat down on the bench in front of the store and there was a young guy sitting in front of us. As we sat there looking at the menu, one of your employees passed the guy by in a huff and yelled out, ?Don?t Smile at me B!tch!!!? Wow?.my wife and I could not believe what he had just witnessed. I?m not sure who this guy was but he looked at her in utter disbelief! We noticed that he was sort of friendly with some of your other staff because he called on one of the cashiers by name (Aleeda) and explained this incident to her. Her mouth (Aleeda) flew wide open in aw and disbelief. She muttered something about the lady using the profanity being ?Hot? because she didn?t get her check. The guy asked Aleeda, Where is ?Paris?? I?m guessing that Paris was someone of authority. Aleeda said Paris was right in the dining room area and she would let her know about this incident. As me and my wife sat there for the next five, or so minutes extremely disappointed, she (Paris) never appeared to address the guy. My wife urged that she wanted to leave. We left, in utter disgust at the events displayed vowing to never return. There could have been a million reasons for this horrific display, however, none would warrant an employee using profanity in the presence of a customer, let alone, TO a customer. After hearing of the poor service and slow food, I convinced my wife to visit your location on Old National Highway anyway. Boy were our eyes opened! I have never ever witnessed this type of behavior in my lifetime. Thus, I will never ever visit Just Loaf?N again! And after all the dramatics I didn?t even get to taste the food!! I have made it clear to my friends that this isn't the place to relax and enjoy a good meal....Personally, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Pros: None...I didn't even get to taste the food!!!! Cons: Staff blatantly uses profanity in the presence of customers!! more

Great until I saw... 6/4/2008

The food was great. I want to give these guys a thumbs up but I can't. I sat in my car to eat because my son went inside to order two more snowballs. The food was just like home. We had beinets, boudin, shrimp poboys, and jambalaya. Then, to my dismay, I saw a huge rodent run in front of my vehicle. The rodent came from a fence bordering the restaurant and seemed to settle in the bushes next to the restaurant. To make matters worse, I saw another smaller one teetering around the fence before I left. You know what they say, for every one you see there are.... As a former health inspector, this is not something I take lightly. Okay, guys great food but at what cost? Hire an exterminator and resume business without risking the health and safety of the public. more

I just want to say thank you to the owners of Just Loaf'n. I am a native New Orleanian, and while I love Atlanta, the lack of a decent shrimp po-boy has always left a hole in my heart. I have always tried to be satisfied with the other attempts around town, but not anymore. I am still reeling in the excitement of having a dressed shrimp po boy with a wedding cake sno Atlanta. \r I thought the service was great. There was no line in the drive through (at 6:30 at night) and the workers were hilarious and incredibly friendly. The wait wasn't long at all. The po boy was DELICIOUS. I only got a half, and it was a little smaller than what I am used to, so next time I'll be sure to order the full. I plan on being a regular customer from now on. Pros: Delicious, Service, Value Cons: I do not live next door. more

Best Poboy in Atlanta 4/10/2008

Also, best red beans and rice, and they serve Community Coffee. I might just move into a tent in their parking lot. Pros: Great food cheap Cons: Why can't I get breakfast on the weekend? more

Good Stuff 2/11/2008

Yeah - no idea what the other reviewer is talking about - staff is always super nice. Yes you have to wait (if you want to drive through I recommend calling ahead, otherwise park), but if you want fast-food cajun, go to Popeye's. Shrimp po'boys are excellent - some of the best I've had outside of NOLA. Beware the roast beef n not attempt to eat in the car. It's a wet sloppy tasty mess. I'm a big fan of their dirty rice, too. Pros: Good food Cons: Gotta wait for it more

The real thing!! 1/1/2008

Hands down, best shrimp po boy I've had outside New Orleans. Completely authentic - these guys know what they're doing. Drive thru is very slow, but absolutely worth the wait. Pros: Amazing po boys more

I crave these po boys! 8/11/2007

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. I go to Just Loaf'n often and they are always friendly and the food is worth the wait. Yes, you will have to wait because the food is cooked to order and I don't know about you, but I don't want under cooked Oysters on my poboy! The advantage to the wait is that the food is freshly cooked and who wants soggy shrimp on their po boy, I'll take the wait for freshly fried to perfection po boys. The Po Boys here are awesome, you would be hard pressed to find a better sandwich in the city! Pros: Yummy Po Boys, great breakfast, friendly service, drive through Cons: parking, some items are expensive for the size more

Just Awful 7/17/2007

This place is so terrible... bad food - long long wait - apparently, from reading their sign, they are slow because they are from 'nawlins... I guess that means being from New Orleans also makes you inefficient, rude, unapologetic, as well as shaking with anger... But hey - who am i to judge someone else's sense of entitlement or reality. Anyway - hopefully their waits on line at the department of labor wont be as long as i had to wait for my 2nd choice on the menu. Basically this place isn't even worth your time even trying - I've already wasted too much of my time on this review. Pros: working toilet Cons: they will probably attack you... more
