I used to go to really enjoy going to Julia's in Ballard and Wallingford. It's been years since I've been (obviously, since the Ballard location has long-since closed), so when I moved back to Seattle and a location opened in my neighborhood, I was excited to try it. We got right in for lunch, but it was really loud, and they were playing really awful Kenny G-ish music at a high volume. The food arrived promptly, and our server was uber-friendly (the others were not so much), but the food wasn't great. We had the hummus plate and a sandwich, and had to remind our server that the hummus came with pita bread, and the sandwich was suppose to come with french fries. The hummus was mealy and bland. The tsatsiki was tasty but drippy. And because it was merely "dribbled" over spinach, it was hard to actually get to the VERY MINIMAL amount of it. The sandwich was tasty enough, but the fries were overly salty. It was hard to converse over the sound of the other diners, which I don't mind so much, but being drowned out by the cheesy awful music made it a pretty unenjoyable experience. If the food had been worth it I might attempt to go again -- on the patio -- but it wasn't.
