Horrible customer service 10/2/2013

After doing $20000 with of business while building our new home, we were experiencing problems with the wood floor. Not once did anybody from the store come evaluate the problem. My general contractor suggested they were good to deal with, but when faced with problems all they do is hang up on you and try to blame someone else. Weather that be the manufacturer or the installer. Do not do business with this company!!!! more

Joplin Floor Design on 32nd street in Joplin is a very nice carpet and tile store for the public. They have a wide variety of items that are not available everywhere else. There is a large selection of tile as well. If you are considering a new floor, they can help you plan out just what you have in mind and have it installed quickly and professionally or you can choose to do it your self if you wish. more

  • Joplin Floor Designs has truly been a family business for over 50 years. The business started as Hukill Furniture and Carpet in Seneca MO in 1962 by Denzil and Lillian Hukill. Denzil and Lillian ran the business until 1992, when their son, Duane Hukill, bought out the business and moved it to Joplin – renaming it Joplin Floor Designs. Duane and his wife Holly are the current owners and are carrying on the tradition set forth by Duane’s parents. Duane feels the success of Joplin Floor Designs has come from the values that he was taught by his parents, and is still evident in the business today. Give the customer what they want; quality products at reasonable prices, with personal service and no gimmicks.
