Nestled away in a small town....I hear John Wayne was a 14 pound baby..and back then...wow!!! You can go through his actual little white house on the corner and see pictures and artifacts. The town is also home to the famous Bridges of Madison County and there is also a very unique "castle" or lookout tower where the view is spectacular, especially in the Fall. It would make a great Autumn outing!
