First off, I was completely disappointed to learn they do not accept credit/debit cards...CASH ONLY!! WHAT? Who uses cash anymore? They do have an ATM on premises, however it's some no-name ATM that charges a fee. Add that to my bank's fee for using someone else's ATM, and that upped my bill $3. So, now on to the food. The Garlic rolls were the first thing we tasted. They are ok if you enjoy dripping grease. Very garlic-y, which we loved, but the puddle of oil at the bottom of the basket was so unappetizing, we couldn't finish them. Next up, the salads. My spouse's caesar was good. Nothing special, just good. My mozarella and tomato salad was very mediocre. The tomatos were warm and the olive oil, not full of flavor. Finally, the pizza. We ordered the delux-est, can't remember the name. The crust was very good, but the sauce honestly tasted exactly like Campbell's tomato soup. First time ever we left the doggie bag on the table, actually didn't even ask to have it wrapped. This experience was at the Pines location. We decided to give the new Cooper City location a shot. Again, forgot the cash, but that was our mistake this time. Food was again very mediocre. Atmosphere at both locations is very unappealing. Very noisy and cafeteria-ish. Don't be fooled by the name, it's definately not Fine Italian. Price was about $50 for 4 people (including tip and ATM fees). After giving it 2 chances, we'll be heading to Carrabas or Johnny Carino's for our Italian dining. I give this place 2 stars (but I wish I had the 1 1/2 stars option).
