Specials are awesome and unique. Juan the GM is a great guy along with the chef Ivo who can come up with some pretty amazing dishes and specials. Niko my homie bartender there took good care of us and although I have yet to dine in at a table I'd definitely have to go with the super friendly Yuri. You will not be disappointed by the freshness and levels of taste these guys come up as well as the service. They have a great rewards program too called PunchMe that's really cool! Make sure to download it and come over and over. more

This is absolutely one restaurant you cannot miss. I'm not sure if it's the attentive service, fresh dishes or superb specials that make it the most whimsical modern bistro in Miami. Read more on http://caviarchronicles.com/2012/07/26/its-official-i-love-2-joeys-now/ more

Pizza is their thing! Joey's should stick to that and forget to try to be a gourmet Italian restaurant. Very weak in the Italian kitchen department (even the salads) The atmosphere is great during early evening, but watch out for busy time! Can't here or be heard do to the bad acoustic. Way too pricey for what and where it is. more

It took more than an hour to get our food at this poorly-run restaurant, and despite complaining to our waiter twice to see a manager (and begging him for another 20 minutes to run our credit cards to pay the bill) we never saw a manager. The food was pricey and not worth the horrendous service. Several other tables were waiting a long time too. We will never return. more

Once again, another great meal at Joey's. This is quickly becoming my go-to place whenever I want to take people out that are in town. Went last night and ordered the Mista salad, which is excellent. Then, ordered the Tortelloni with Speck and mushrooms, which is always a big hit. Also had the Burrata special, which was soft and smooth and very good.\r \r For dinner, I ordered the Tuna Steak, which came with grilled tomatoes and greens. The sides were good and the tuna was as well, but I ordered the tuna medium-rare, and it came out more of a medium to medium-well. I didn't want to send it back because my guests were already enjoying their meals, but it was definitely overdone. This is the first time I've really had a problem with something not being cooked correctly, as I've been 3 other times and haven't had a problem. \r \r For dessert, we ordered the Pear dessert and it was very good. It comes with Vanilla Bean gelato, which was good, but the gelato had ice chunks in it from being too frozen. The server said that it was supposed to be that way, but I have a hard time believing that.\r \r As always, the service was very good and is one of the reasons I keep coming back. They are always on top of everything and are more than willing to help you out should something not be to your liking. I will keep coming back for more! more

I try to support new businesses in the Wynwood area. I've been to Joey's twice. First time ordered cod, it was note edible because it was spoilt. They replaced this with a local fish (dolphin/mahi mahi) which was edible. The second time I was there I ordered 'white tuna'. It wasn't, it was Escloar which has some rather odd gastrointestinal side effects (this fish is banned in Japan and Italy by the way and sometimes it is sold off as 'white tune', butterfish, white mackerel and other odd names). It was both mediocre and I could have done without the side effects. Others I have been there with also stated the food was mediocre at best with one exception - pizza. The pizza is some of the best in Miami. So if you go, stick with this. more

The service was horrible, the food was too salty. When I told the waitress She told me that the chef said its perfect, if i had that dish before. The lady who was in charge didn't understand any english, so she didn't talked to us about the problem with my dish.\r The restaurant was so noise too.\r I'm never coming back more

In my opinion is one of the best eateries in Miami. Food is fresh, well prepared, well served and the best part is service!!! They really go the extra mile to make sure that you are satisfied!!! Totally recommend this place! more

We had heard good things about Joey's and we thought it was terrible. Poor service, very, very noisy inside, unappealing vegetables, bland tasteless fish and pasta.\r \r Sorry to say we would never go there again and cannot recommend it.' more

The service here is perfect. Absolutely perfect. I am starting to see that restaurants in the Design District are light years ahead of SoBe in terms of service. The atmosphere here is also very nice. The food, honestly, is right at above average. Maybe it was just what we ordered. The caprese bruschetta was really good, the salmon ravioli was good as well, and the grilled sirlon steak was just okay. But i would be willing to give the food another shot. BTW, the server did an excellent job in suggesting wine. Also, the crowd here comes in around 9:00-9:30. more
