Went there to purchase a really nice 2006 mustang GT. Everything was said and done down to the wire. Actually had the car four days. Everyday for four days i had to provide something new for the bank! Everyday i had to have some type of new paper work! I gave them 5 thousand down on a 10 thousand dollar car. After all was said and done it boiled down to them not wanting to accept a cell phone number for my wife's employment verification. My wife works for her parents and her parents were out of state an not at the office. Why couldn't all of this had been done from the very beginning? I was ran through the ringers and put through HORRIBLE at best customer service. There are many more things that i can list, but im already to pissed to type. Just stay away from this place by all means! more

My husband and I purchased a used vehicle from these guys. We actually got a very good deal from them on a 2008 Suzuki SX4. We took the vehicle home and have had it for 2 weeks now. We receive a phone call from the sales guy who sold us the vehicle saying now the financing wouldn't go through because my husbands drivers license is from another state but if we wanted to bring the vehicle back then they have another vehicle that they've already got the fianancing approved on through Ford Motor credit. So now, after 2 weeks we have to go back and re-negotiate because these guys didn't give us the heads up in the first place. There are reasons WHY my husband can't have his drivers license changed over. If we could, then it would have been an easy fix, but now their saying they want us to buy another vehicle that is slightly more expensive with 8,000 more miles on it than the other. Very upset with these guys!!! more

Loyal Customer Rip-Off 1/7/2009

I am a loyal customer of Joe Myers Kia, 16634 Northwest Fwy, Houston. I did often repair my Sorento there. This time my rear axle seal leaked and they fixed it (part 30 bucks, labor 320!). When I picked-up my car the engine check light came on! Since it was late, I came back the next morning and confronted them with the fact that I got my Sorento back in worse shape than when I brought it in! The manager, Mr. Gracia, was most unpolite and intimidating and said it was a mere coincidence. How convenient. I asked for a rebate on the new repair. Wouldn't give me. In fact they asked me to leave the shop in a very unpolite even threatening way! I almost felt like in one of the movies when a guy is being asked to leave or... I feel really angry with them right now. I have filed a formal complaint with Kia America. Let's see... Don't buy Kia and especially not from Joe Myers in Houston. BTW, in my job - if I treated any customer or collaborator like that I would be fired instantly. more

I drove a long way to look at a vehicle at Joe myers Mazda-Kia. The car was exactly as described and I was on the road in less than 2 hours. This was the best experiance that I ever had on a car purchase. Everyone there that I encountered was extremely nice. I would reccomend them to anyone. more

WALK AWAY! 5/30/2008

My husband and I called them regarding an ad for a 2009 Corolla listed for 13999. They said that they indeed had the car so we drove up there to look at it. When we got to the dealership there were like 20 sales men waiting outside, waving at our car as we pulled up!! We found the guy who said the car was there, his name is KIRK (avoid him !) The car was being kept in a separate lot, and Kirk *assumed* that he had it made and that we were going to buy it, no questions asked !! While I was test driving the car, he kept sighing and acting as though I couldn't drive a stick shift (I have driven one for a LONG time ok??) He was very short with us, treating us rudely and behaving as if we were getting such a good deal and that he was doing us a *favor.* When I asked about window tinting (because ALL dealerships are offering it complimentary these days) he quoted me a price of $400. RIGHT !! He was really eager and in a hurry to get us inside and run our credit. He was snippy and nasty and did not want to discuss anything regarding the price of the car. He acted as though we were wasting his time and tried to make us feel really stupid for raising any questions about the vehicle. My husband was really mad because Kirk was talking down to me as if I am stupid because I am female. Little does this guy know that I am a fourth year Math student and my husband is working on his PhD in Math!! He actually told us that if we buy the car at that price, we HAVE to finance the car through them!! AND, get this-- the minimum interest rate they offer, for people with GOOD credit, is 7.9% !! In case you all are wondering, the market rate these days is 6.49 % ! Also, if you buy a 2009 corolla from the regular lot, you are eligible for 2.9 % for 60 months if you have good credit!! And I am supposed to be getting this great discount?? We decided NOT to fill out the credit application because it lowers your beacon score. He told me not to worry about that and insisted on running my credit. When I told him that we wanted to go have lunch and discuss it he tried all kinds of cheap manipulation tactics on us. He even called a coworker over the loud speaker to come over and stare at us before we walked out the door. The guy looked really confused about why he was being called as we had already decided to leave. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning there EVER to buy a car for ANY REASON. more

Joe Myers Ford - March 2008 - Horrible 4/19/2008

Sales Manager (Mike) treated me okay until the negotiations. Asst. Manager (Mark) ditto. BUT after that I was treated badly. Ford F-150 XL Automatic, A/C.Why can't this dealership be pleasant. I was made to feel like I was taking all the profit......They said my price was below their cost. I walked out, but they called me to come back in. THEY LIED, THEY YELLED AT ME, but I bought at my original price. At the signing of the papers, they tried not to give me the entire rebate. They thought I would not see it. Then there was another rebate for $750, but they said Ford changed it down to $300. I agreed. After I took possession, I found out that the rebate should have been $750 all along. Demanded $450 & after many days of my being relenting they said I could pick up the check. They still owe me $124.78 on items that they suckered me into. I paid more sales tax than I should have. They wanted to remove the bedliner and the hub caps. They did remove the hub caps before I took delivery. more

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! 12/4/2007

Though the car seemed like a good deal.. the hassle was way too much..I'd rather spend the extra cash for a transaction where I'm treated with more respect. Worst EVER customer service and sales experience... EVER!!! Lack courtesy across the board... and I'm talking about the managers too! Don't want to do any 'extra' work and will RUDELY try to bulldoze you. BUYER BE WARE!!! Unbelievably poor customer etiquette for such a large dealership! Even if they were the last dealership in Houston, I'd not take my business there again! I'd rather take the bus! Got repeatedly yelled at and cutoff by Ed in FInance, Vince or Vic in Used car Sales, ...no one's ever available and when they are they can't rationalize..ED.. VIC/VINCE.. It was a horrific experience.. please TRUST the poor reviews u see and take look elsewhere.. big name doesn't mean good or at least satisfactory service.. definitely not in Joe Myers case! If I could rate less than one star I would.. more

I paid a visit to Joe Meyers Kia because they advertised good prices and on the internet they guaranteed no money down financing. When I visited the dealership the sales didn't even know what was on the website. He said that is was based on credit and I had to tell him that it specifically stated regardless of credit. That was the beginning of a miserable experience. I left the first day w/o coming to an agreement on the monthly payment. They called back two days later and said they had a good deal. I told him that if it was not my original price than I didn't want to waste my time and gas going back out there (30 min trip), he guaranteed me they would give me what I wanted. Not the case, I left after 45 min and told them not to waste my time. The floor manager called me two days later and said they would definately accept my offer. I told him not to waste my time and my patience was getting short, if they were going to give me the run around again I would be angry. This time my husband came with me and we waited 30 minutes before the manager was available and they had the nerve to ask for more money, this time. Needless to say I was livid. I told them to stop contacting me and I would take my busines elsewhere. To make a long story short, I would never do business with them nor would l recommend that anyone go there. more

I wanted to look at the Mazda 3 and 6 and I went on a test drive of the Mazda 3. I did not have time to drive the 6. The salesman took me inside to talk to the manager about incentives because he did not know - but when I inquired as to the rebates I had read about; the Manager laughed at me and said Mazda does not offer rebates because they are the top selling car on the market right now. So with all his little suck up salesmen around him they all had a good chuckle. Then the Manager asked where I got this information and referred to me as "little lady" and told me I was wrong and had outdated information. He just looked at me like I was so stupid. I told him I would take my business to a dealership that did not talk down to women. I have done lots of research on incentives being offered for Sept and Oct on 2006 models. Maybe his dealership is not participating but that is all he had to say. What a waste of my time. I just wish I would have told him how wrong he was before I left. Mazda is far from being the top selling car right now. I will be making a call to the Management of that dealership. I guess customer satisfaction is not high on their priority list! If you are a single female shopper, do not waste your time with this dealership. They get a negative star on my rating scale. KM more

Never heard a good thing about this place 8/6/2005

Before I say anything else, it's important to note that many car dealers have serious issues handling paperwork and administrative issues. Joe Myers takes it to the best level, I have had friends waste days, read that as 24 to 48 hours correcting mistakes made by Joe Myers that they should have handled themselves. Things like ordering license plates and sending in paperwork get messed up at Joe Myers, good luck if you check them out. more

We bought a new truck at an outstanding price thanks to my expert negotiating skills. However, these people have been a thorn in out side since we've bought it. They kept saying we forgot to sign something. We went back up there (out of our way by like 30 miles) and thought it was all over with. Nope. Two days later, they called and said we signed in the wrong place. I was livid!! I made them come down to my house because I wasn't going to waste my off day traveling all the way over there. Now come to find out we have to go up there again because they told us we had to have something that was mandatory and it was actually optional. more
